Success is a Choice

Did you know that you can choose to be successful?  Yes, this is completely true!  Success is a choice.  Once you realize this you can easily change your life and attitude to one aligned with success.  Today, we will discuss how you can immediately shift your mental state to find success.

Almost everyone that I meet says, “I want to be successful, but …” It seems that all agree that ’success’ is what they want though they seem to always place an obstacle of “but …” in front of their desire for ’success.’  This conditional “but” is alittle different for each person.  For example, some say, “I want to be successful, but … I don’t have time …  I have other commitments (family, job, etc.) … I have to take care of someone else … I have too much responsiblity … I have to do other things first … I can never happen for me … I’m too old (or young) … I don’t know how …  etc.”  You may have heard your own excuse in one or more of the previous conditions.

We all have created excuses for ourselves at one time or another.  And they are just that - EXCUSES.  They are excuses that result in self created obstacles placed between you and success.  Essentially, you are justifing not achieving success by creating excuses.  This way you do not feel bad about not doing your part in creating success for yourself because you are blaming your inability to reach success on something that is outside of you - outside of your control.

Now ask yourself, “Will I ever become successful in life by sabotaging myself?”  Interesting question!  The answer to this question is obvious - Heck No.  You will never succeed to achieve anything in a harmonious way by throwing obstacles in your way.  And you will never change your ability achieve success until you change your mind about success.
